Raum ist niemals neutral. Er wird verteilt, begrenzt, geöffnet und kontrolliert. Die Art und Weise, wie öffentlicher Raum genutzt und zugänglich gemacht wird, prägt unser Zusammenleben und beeinflusst, welchen Menschen Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt oder Ideen und Lebensweisen gesellschaftlicher Wert zugeschrieben wird.
Wer hat Zugang? Wer wird ausgeschlossen? Wie wird Öffentlichkeit erzeugt? Welche Räume werden geschützt und aufgewertet oder vernachlässigt und verdrängt? Wie werden Räume verändert? Wodurch fühlt man sich an einem Ort wohl? Wie verhalten sich ein virtueller und ein realer Raum zueinander? Welche Missstände gibt es zurzeit?
Das kooperative Ausstellungsprojekt widmet sich diesen Fragen und hält dazu an, sich mit räumlicher Gerechtigkeit, Gemeinschaft, sozialer Ungleichheit, Identität und alternativen Formen des Zusammenlebens auseinanderzusetzen.
Im Rahmen der diesjährigen Open-Call-Ausstellung laden wir Künstler*innen, Kollektive und Individuen aus verschiedensten Disziplinen dazu ein, Werkideen zu diesem Thema einzureichen. Die Einreichungen werden anhand folgender Kriterien ausgewählt: Umsetzbarkeit; Verfügbarkeit innerhalb der Produktionsphase; Offenheit für kollaborative Prozesse; Kompatibilität mit anderen künstlerischen Positionen.
Das Projekt beinhaltet eine mehrwöchige Zusammenarbeit während der Ideen- und Produktionsphase sowie einen gemeinsamen Austausch untereinander. Der g.o.l.f. Klub begrüßt Bewerbungen von Künstler*innen mit den unterschiedlichsten Erfahrungshintergründen - Vorerfahrungen sind keine Voraussetzung.

Die Ausstellung findet 23.-25.10.2026 in den Räumlichkeiten der GB* Süd statt
Ein paar Wochen nach dem Kick-Off wird es ein gemeinsames Halbzeit-Update geben, eine Woche vor der Ausstellung beginnt die Aufbauphase.
Die Arbeiten sollen in einer gemeinsamen Produktionsphase erzeugt werden, die von Ideenaustausch bis zur Fertigstellung zwischen Anfang September und Mitte Oktober stattfindet. Daher nehmt euch bitte Zeit und achtet darauf, in dieser Phase überwiegend anwesend zu sein. Ihr könnt euch bereits bestehender Arbeiten bedienen, jedoch steht die Produktion von neuen, für die Ausstellung gedachter Werke im Vordergrund. Da wir als Kunst- und Kulturverein den niederschwelligen Zugang zu Kunstproduktion und gemeinsamen Kunstschaffen anstreben, ist uns ein Austausch innerhalb der Gruppe ein Anliegen. Während der Schaffensphase stehen wir euch gerne als Vereinsmitglieder zur Verfügung, um bei den Umsetzungen von euren Ideen zu helfen!:)
Wir stellen ein Produktionsbudget (voraussichtlich 80-100€) zur Verfügung sowie Betreuung, Unterstützung und die Möglichkeit, die Werkstätten/Atelierplätze und das Fotostudio sowie die Dunkelkammer zu nutzen. Die Arbeiten können auch im Austausch miteinander entstehen. Reisekosten können leider nicht erstattet werden.
Für die Bewerbung lädst du eine kurze Künstler*innenbio, Auszüge aus deinem Portfolio und deine Konzeptidee (optional mit Beispielfotos/Skizzen etc.) in einem PDF-Dokument (max. 5 Seiten!) zu dir hoch.

Space is never neutral. It’s constantly being distributed, restricted, opened and controlled. The ways in which public space is used and made accessible shape our communal life and coexistence. It influences whose presence is made visible and which ideas and ways of life are recognized as valuable within society.
Who has access? Who is (being) excluded? In which ways is the public produced? Which spaces are being protected and upvalued or neglected and replaced? In which ways can space be transformed? What makes us feel comfortable in a space? How do virtual and physical space relate to each other? What injustices and challenges shape our present?
This collaborative exhibition project engages with these questions and hopes to offer opportunities to reflect on “spacial justice”, community, social inequality, identity and alternative ways of sharing public space.
As part of this year’s open-call exhibition, we invite artists, collectives and individuals from all arts disciplines to submit ideas for works on this subject. The exhibiting positions will be chosen via the following criteria: feasibility of the execution; openness to collaborative processes; availability of the artist during the production timeframe; compatibility with other artistic positions.
The project includes a collaboration lasting several weeks during the conceptual and production phases, as well as mutual exchange among participants. The g.o.l.f. Klub welcomes applications from artists with a wide variety of backgrounds – prior experience is not required.

The exhibition will take place on October 23th-25th 2026, at GB* Süd
A few weeks after the kick-off, there will be a joint halftime project-update session.
The setup phase will begin one week before the exhibition.
The works should be produced during a collective production phase, which will take place between early September and mid-October, ranging from brainstorming to completion. Therefore, please set aside time and make sure to be present for the majority of this phase. You are welcome to use existing works, but the focus is on creating new pieces specifically for the exhibition. As an arts and culture association, we strive to make artistic projects accessible to everyone, so fostering exchange within the group is a priority for us. During the creative process, we—as association members—are happy to assist you in bringing your ideas to life! :)
We will provide a production budget (approximately 80-100€), as well as guidance, support, and access to the workshops, studio spaces, photo studio, and darkroom located at Studio g.o.l.f. Klub. The works can also be created in collaboration with one another. Please note that travel expenses cannot be reimbursed.
